And yes new knobs are the chit. Fun to see how your bike will track in the same places you ride. I love that feeling. And gets you more aggresive on the trail knowing ther will be less wash.

i know, i shut off my bike too. but i use to have to chase cows for my friend. his cows would always get loose and me and a few other people on bikes and some people on horses would have to chase them. well the horses didnt care that much. and back in my road riding days i remember the cows would start stampedes and the horses would just stand their staring at you.

Yeah your getting bite from the sharp edges of the knobs and great for wheelie practice lol. From what your pics tell, You need to stick with a Med terrain tire.
And don't throw away your other tire.
Keep it for a comparison on the time langth on the new one and what ware is showing and traction. Don't be a pack rat lol, but good to know as a newer rider.

I just got a new pair of carlsbads put on my bike last week, And i wasn't to impressed. I was riding up at a local gravel pit and it sure did a number on them, i thought they would of held up a bit better, I havent yet tested them on the track.

Hey guys... just wanted to share a sad picture of my first flat tire... somehow I found a nail... here are the results.

The stock tire with a tail in it

My new Carlsbad tire ready to go and working good on the trails, and in the sand!

I loved my Carlsbads. I had them on my Suzuki and the track we have behind my dads office is hard packed and rocky and these tires had so much traction. they also had alot of traction at the local gravel pit. When I got my Honda no more Carlsbads for me  . I will get some soon.
