Bike won't even push start..

SORRY, I ACCIDENTALLY POSTED THIS IN A WRONG FORUM.

I have 97' Suzuki RM80. I bought this bike used. Everything used to work fine. Then I was riding it a week ago, when I stopped, it died. I tried to kick start it like 20 times, wouldn't start. So I sat down, smoked a cigarete, then tried again and it started with 4th kick. I drove back to the house, hit the brakes, it died again, then I put it into the garage.

The next day tried to start it, kicked the hell out of it, wouldn't start. I noticed that now when I kick it, it makes this weird low pitch sound, instead of high pitch as it did before. So I figured I will try to push start it, still nothing. Spark plug looks brand new. The tank is full, gas goes into the carb.

Any suggestions? This is my first bike, so I don't know much about bikes. Thanks!

When you kick the bike does it have any resistance?

There is resistance, feels pretty much the same as when it was running, only might be a little lighter.

I was running down hill with it, I got it started, and then jumped on it. But its still dying if I drop speed to about 10mph. So pretty much every time I have to stop, it dies and I have to push start it.

Spark plug was all black, so I bought a new one, but it still doesn't start. When I try to kick it, still makes the same sound. Now when I push start it, it kinda starts for ~10 seconds sometimes. Then it goes super slow and uneven like engine would have uneven gas supply, and then dies.

I could get it running buy push starting before, it would run slow for first few seconds and then kick in like it normally runs, but now it just barely goes forward. It goes and sounds like I'm pulling and releasing throttle all the time.

I didn't had money for gas, so my buddy gave me chain saw gas, which was also two stroke. Could that be the problem why it runs like this when I push start it?

Any ideas why it doesn't kickstart?

Chainsaw gas uses less oil in it's premix than your bike wants.  It can also get away with using lesser quality premix oil than yur bike needs.  Drain your gas tank.  Refill it with fresh 91 or higher octane premixed at 32:1 with an oil designed for motocross bikes.  This could be the cheap fix but I am afraid you might be due for a new piston and rings.

Running at 50:1 could have fouled the last plug by makeing the bike run like it was rich.  Your jetting may be off anyway so check the plug again after trying the new gas with the proper mix.

drain that saw gas out! put high octane gas with motocross oil you pick i personally use motul 800t oil runs araound 17 bucks each and goes for about 10 gal a bottle also i'd say its either your top end or you need to retune your carb. mostlikely when you have to push start it to get it running and only runs for a little bit your compression is pretty low around 80 lbs i'd say so get a compression gauge at your local autozone and check that first! dont touch the carb until you know if its the top end or the carb. is just a huge headache to retune the carb
