Are any of you guys & girls doing anything interesting this weekend?

As for my plans, I'll be out at the MDR Night Run aka 'California 200' in Lucerne Valley. It's an offroad truck & car(no bikes - too dangerous to mix) race that begins around 7pm.  I will not be racing, although I will be out there chasing for some friends racing. I'll bring my camera out and try to get some shots before the sun has disappeared.


If local and never been to an offroad race around Southern California this is the race to see. Here's some info...

Course Length: 50 Miles
Number of Laps: 4
3 Laps for Classes: 300, 900, 12-Unlimited, 1200, 1300, 1450, 1700, 3700
2 Laps for Classes: 1100, 1900
Time Limit: 7.5 Hours

Nothing that exciting for us; do plan to go out to the track with my son and some friends for some riding, weather is looking great!

Pro Nationals this weekend at millville.  Hoping that Dungy can pull out a win in his home state!!  

nice mslovell. (sorry if i misspelled that) that sounds like fun! what type of terrain they race out there? sandy baja type or like muddy and ruts trails? this weekend i plan on going to a party. a little get together with some friends. maybe some riding and im gonna persuade my parents to let me take money out of the bank to get my bike fixed ! hope ya'll have fun ~pat

Dave - I think going to the track is more exciting than this offroad race. That's one place I want to start visiting more w/ my brother (he's a good teacher).  

TrackShark - Lucky! Should be fun.. Ryan Dungey is one of my favorites.

Atkkid250 - You spelled my last name(Lovell) right and that's all that matters.

The start of the race course goes along the sideline of the Soggy Dry Lake Bed. Mostly the terrain is rocky dirt roads with big, deep two-tracks with the occasional sandy spots. There is also the Rockpile jump where everyone gathers to watch the racers launch their vehicles in hopes of a great photo.

I was gonna recoupe from going to the gym since i just joined so i can get my tush back in shape. Went in today all moto ready to work out drop my kid off at the daycare there and 25 mins into my cardio i get paged to go to the daycare my kid was crying his head off and didnt want to go back in to play. Its weird cause he did fine these past 2 days that i took him in and now today grrr. So now ill have to go in this weekend to make up for that missed workout.  

Ermm, going to a christian music festival/camp for 5 days. There is about 12-13,000 young people, so should be a good laugh! Leaving tomorrow morning, and getting back early wednesday. So won't be on for a while! Cya then!

Yeah, basically. There is like a main meeting in the morning. And then at night there are different gigs. From rappers to heavy metal! You'd be surprised what the music is like, most people think of quiet old hyms! LOL! No, this is modern music!

There is a christian band my friend listens to called Demon Hunter, and they don't sing the words they SCREAM!!! LOL
