I dumped my XR200 in the Creek and it will not take any throttle. I have dried the Air Filter, Changed the oil and blown out the carb. It has Spark, Gas, air and starts to an idle, but will not RPM up when I hit the gas. Any suggestions?

Did you get the throttle cable re-attached to the slide?

You either have water in the carburetor, water in the fuel tank or both. You need to remove the float bowl drain bolt (usually a 17mm on the bottom of the float bowl) and see if there is water in it. Drain all the fuel from the tank and remove the petcock and clean the screen. Put it back in the tank and fill with clean gas. If those steps don't fix the problem, you probably need to remove the pilot jet. If it is plugged, the engine will not want to go above idle.
