Are there any quick n easy tricks to getting the perfect amount of freeplay on a CRF250R? Ive heard something about using three fingers as the right freeplay but idk if its true.

Three fingers is about right, I believe. Check your manual it should have the spec for it.

Yes, the general rule of thumb is three fingers widths. But like DC check your manual for precise specs.

if your manual shows fingers then go buy a real one. its 48-58mm. 1.9-2.3 in. roughly 2 fingers. This place is getting old.

2 fingers or 3 fingers is way to vague. Typically Yamaha's require more freeplay then other bikes due the their swingarm geometry.
GO by what the manual says. Don't use the axle blocks, measure to make sure you are right.
Rulers don't lie. One persons 2 fingers is another persons 3.
