Number Plate Background question

Hey everyone, My dad is looking to get some black numberplate backgrounds for his 04 CRF250X. The only problem is that he has a number plate on the front instead of the factory headlight. Does anyone know If we should get the backgrounds for an 04 CRF250R since he has a numberplate on the front??? I want to make sure that they also will fit the side number plates as well if we got the 250R ones.

the side plates should be the same. id call a honda dealer to make sure though. but you should be able to get the backgrounds for a crf250r as long as its the same year. you can get ones that arent pre cut and they are a lot cheaper.
