i am good with a stick welder i can even weld on rusted out chipped paint metal

i am working on my front suspension as of now and i just fixed mt stripped oil check plug i tapped it out a size larger so now it looks wierd but it dosnt leak anymore and it cost me about a dollar for the bolt

Umm 67? explain please? lol Yeah welding is useful and fun. I learned on a stick, self taught on a mig, then learned tig when I got here from an airframes friend of mine.Sounds like a fun project

Oh you can do good welds with a stick, dont get me wrong. my shop has a licoln arc from the 70's that sees weekly use when I'm home and got a project. That thing does great welds. I just try to be the most well rounded mechanic/bike builder I can be.

i got a lincoln as well. as for the exhaust. useing the stock one and gonne hold in place somehow. havent thought of that yet. need the bike to make plans. any sugestions? ~pat

you might have to bend the header/muffler in to get it to attach to the frame
