back riding after 20 years.
I got thrown on my back last week.
It was bound to happen.

I started thinking, maybe buy some crash gear.
I'm looking at a under jersey shirt-thing like the
FOX launch or the thor, I think EVS makes one too.

Does anyone have opinions from experiecnce riding in these? Are they hot as hell do they protect like the frame style protectors.

Thanks

I have the EVS Ballistic Jersey (BJ-22).  It offers good over all protection.  I don't wear it under the jersey (that may be too hot).  When I wear it I use a t-shirt under it and when I stop or take a break I un-zip it.  It has mesh fabric so it does breath well when moving.

You kinda feel like a Star Wars storm trooper, but once riding you don't notice it.

I haven't gotten a good fit with my Leatt Brace yet, I am working on that.  It does offer more areas of protection than a std chest protector.  It can be warm but mostly when you are stopped.

When I am not using it, I where EVS elbow guards under my jersey and use HRP's Flat Jak Lt (for Leatt brace).  I just ordered their rib protector option for it (three weeks ago I high sided and landed on my right side and drove my elbow into my ribs under the protector; the rib guard will cover the side).

I'll let you know how that works after I try it.

I got the evs revolution 4 and it's pretty solid doesn't have as much in the back as a frame model. But it still has very good protection. It is also very cool too.

nothing serious.
i just unweighted the back and crossedup the front in some sand - it pitched me over the side.

No not under a chest protector, in place of one.
I was thinking ballistic jersey, i seems like the elbows would stay in place better, and the whole thing would move better, but i'm guessing.
