Does anyone know the length of a dirt bike from from wheel to the rear ? I ask because Im looking for a small trailer and I was told don't get less then 8ft trailer, I do not see how a dirt bike will not fit on a 6ft trailer, no way its that long ?

It depends if you use a rack to haul your bike. My dad has a rack on his 5x8 trailer and if you have it on on of the side tire slots, any bike will fit(unless you have an extended swingarm). However the middle tire slot my xr100r can just barely make it past the gate. Unless you don't have a rack or a small rack, you can easily get a trailer less than 8ft. especially for a 230
