Just cheap Krylon in a spray bomb. Nuthin fancy.

The primer i used was Rustoleum and I'm gonna hit it with a non-yellowing clear coat this week.

Pat, Page three of this thread. Half way down is the pic of the frame. I just scuffed it up and sanded down to the metal where there was rust.

From who, your local buds? Does it look that much different from a factory frame. It's not blue, but it's gotta be similar to the paint on my sons CR80 frame.

While i have the whole bike apart, I'm gonna do the swingarm bearings.

I try to do them twice a year or more if i do a lot of water crossings.

If u stay on them and use a good quality grease, like Belray Waterproof you should get a couple of years out of your bearings.

Yamahas are a little tricky because they use a needle type bearing and you have to remove them and clean them. Just make sure you count them out so there is an even number on both sides. Grease em up and put them back in.

This is the linkage from the frame to the swingarm. They looked really good.

The other half of the linkage didn't make it even though i just cleaned and greased them in the spring.

I'll drop some new bearings in and take some more pics.
