bike needs a 53 tooth rear and a new pipe(FMF Powercore 4) to let it breathe...i was astonished when i got home and rode er for the first time...no "pop"...i finally figured out to take the little end cap off the pipe(spark arrestor) and WA-LAH...she came to life...the stock pipe still only has a 1" outlet, so that is just not going to suffice...a stock 450sx or xc-f has a 1.5" outlet and is not as restrictive...stock gearing is 13/52, which seems low, but the bike needs a 53 tooth rear... which really is your only option...a 54 is too big...a 12 tooth countershaft sprocket is not a good idea...i hope Jimmy Lewis reads this...i new some input, otherwise i am going to get an 450xc-f...i just need a little "pop"...in his review, they did not mess with pipes or jetting. JD has no jet kit for this bike...It does have 2 ignition maps, but i don't know if the wire is plugged in right no or not...if it is plugged in, then that = "POP"...if it is not plugged in, that=traction....HELP!...PLEASE!...otherwise i think i just wasted $9,000.00

get ahold of jd jetting. they have a dyno and ask James to call you when he gets one figured out. he will take care of you. he is a really nice fellow. he might suggest one of those intake vane things. sorry i don't have the correct name for those. i would defer to jd, he rides a 505 and is a big ktm guy as well as an "A" class rider. luck my brother!

JD does have a jet kit..he e-mailed me...also, i put a T-4 Pro Circuit pipe on it...Pro Circuit also re-jetted my bike and wired my accelerator pump...my bike flys...it rips...feels nothing like stock bike...so i am stoked!
