Help water in engine

Its my wort nightmare i crashed in a puddle and got the bike out as quick as i could, pushed it to my truck and took it home. I took out the air filter cleaned out the water from the airbox drained the gas from the carb cleaned the plug. I left the plug out and turned the engine over with my hand and water comes out of the spark plug hole. Now do i have to take the engine apart and clean it all up cause there was probably dirt in the water so if i let the water dry there will be dirt in the engine. Or could i just let the water dry up, put the plug in and try to start it.
Any words of advice would be appreciated.

Take it apart and clean it.
