hi,im 16 & ive been riding for 1 n half years on 2 strokes.. i have to say i can ride pretty well seeing i only ride maybe once a month but engine wise i wouldnt have a clue..
the first time i took out my cr125 07 yesturday it blew used spark plug within 20mins.. i then put a new one and that blew within 5 mins (it wouldnt kick start with the new plug i had to jump start it n when it did it was really boggish..so i reved the *** out of it till it road cleanly..it went very well for the 5 mins then wouldnt even jump start again..i do keep revs up high but still dont know the prob..
im using NGK br9eg plugs, with 98 unleaded and a mix of 38:1 with motul off road 800 factory line ester 2T... i mainly go trail riding but there are many straight to open up the bike constantly..
please help no idea what to do

What is your jetting, sounds like your running rich.

sounds like the top end is gone. or you dont know how to start the bike or both. first off cleaned plugs dont work, i use to use them and they fouled constantly, and the bike ran like crap. now did this just start?

EVERYONE TOLD ME AND MY DAD TO GO LOWER ON THE JETS AND STUFF BUT IT DIDNT HELP MUCH SO WE PUT IN A JD JETTING AND IT HELPED BIG TIME GO TO JDJETTING.COM AND YOU MIGHT WANT TO CALL THEM AND SEE HOW IT WORKS AND STUFF BUT IT WILL DEFINITELY HELP.

that is because you do not know what you are doing, if you know how to jet, you can easily get a honda to run fine.
they are jetted a little rich from the factory so they dont blow up.
a jd jet kit cost like 100 dollars. you can get a honda rejetted for about 10 dollars.
