Thats a 2001 yz 125 frame, a ported and worked over 1987 yz 490. About 75 hp, give or take, should be nasty when done.

Yeah theres only a few tracks in Okinawa but Ill be on them for sure. And when I get stationed at cali in dec 09, look out!!!!Im gonna have the suspension done by rg3 or someone else good, new triple clamps, scotts steering stablizer, pro taper oversize, make it nice as possible.Right now Im just trying to get it rideable.

Where did you find a 490 engine and a yz frame? And what class are you riding in?

The frame was a running 2001 yz 125 that I rode every weekend until I got bored and tore it apart for this. I bought the engine complete off ebay, had it ported and bored then my dad shipped it to me. Ill be at Miramar in all likely hood, there or pendelton, thats the only places i can go, the helicopter I work on is getting phased out, thats the only places left where they are beside here in Okinawa. I don't race a class, theres almost no organized races here, but when I get done Ill be racing open class at this track about 30 min north, if its still open. Semper Fi
