My kids has a Yamoto dirt bike. We cannot get it to idle when the line from the crankcase is hooked up to the carb. Has anyone had any experience with this. I have never worked on a motorcycle before
thanks

I am not kidding you. I bought the bikes used off a guy. There is a rubber line that runs from the carb and ends up on the engine case. I don't have a manual. If i take that line off the bike will run ok. When I connect it the engine dies. It actually sounds like it is flooding. I can't imagnine I should leave that line loose and vented to the ground. Or maybe that is correct.

leave the line vented to the ground. it seems to me like it is a carb vent. supposed to be there and not sure why it would be connected to the case that makes no sense..... and welcome to the board fire. hope to see you around. ~pat

Okay sorry, Was just wondering why you were conecting the vent tube to the case and how lol! It just hangs down under the back of the engine. Dont clog it ir hook it anywhere.
