if you drop the front end into the water it can slam you. I have never done it across as far as in the video, but I have done it across decent size areas. You basically just hold it wide open and hope for the best.

Yeah I've done it across some long mud puddles, not hard but can be dangerous. Just clutch it get the front in light, pin it open and hope for the best. Ypu could always try this.......http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=xBtSMpmC9Lk
