there is no justifying lol. that is an outrageous sum. and threaten to tell all your friend show crappy the service was. and how expensive it is. actually i wouldnt even threaten i'd promise. they might try to remedy it with you before it comes to that. ~pat

yeah, im going to ask what exactly they did and why the *** it took so long.

they better have a good reason too or there will be hell to pay.

this is what I kinda think.

they put all the rims on and stuff, got it good and ready to go, THEN realized I needed a new rear back rotor, had to take the back tire off and screw around with that, I dont know.

I agree, it shouldnt have taken more than 3 or so hours, these are professionals and they got EVERY tool known to mankind.

how much are moose tubes? I know my brake complication adds an extra 200$. Like I said, I was estimating that the bill was 300-500 and thats with the new rotor and pads, not 820.

rotor 140, pads are like 40 i think, moose tube is like 40-60, i know its really expensive for a tube, 10 dollars for brake fluid. 5 mins to take wheel off, 15 mins to change tire and tube, 5 mins to change rotor, 5 mins to change pads, 5 mins to change caliper, 5 mins to put wheel back on.

You should print out this thread and give it to the shop to show them that dirtbike junkies think it was crap.

my shop charges 30 dolars an hour for labor and they have a cool thing going there if two guys are working on the bike they will only charge you for one
for instance if two guys are working for an hour i only pay 30 bucks

ok, so rotor, pads, and tubes are about 300$, now they want 500$ labour to put all that on? yeah right. im going to tell them ive talked to 10 diff people and they all said I was ridiculously overcharged and they know it.

Ya. My dad took the crankshaft of our kx250 to the shop the other day (refer to 96 kx250 crankshaft rebuild kit thread) and we need a new one which sux because its gunna be like $250 that we dont exactly have...

well my top end was tat much with labor and parts i had new clynder piston rings power vavlue a bunch of seals and now my bottom end is getting rebulit
