hmm. you can put a little less oil in it. instead or running it at 32:1 you can run it at 40 or even 50 if thats all your gonna do is ride with your kid. if you dont want to do that, you can just use hte clutch and rev it out ehh? i wish chud was really on here, he rides with his kids all the time and he'd know how to set it up as far as jetting. ~pat

well it might eventually foul so i'd say use a hotter plug. or run it leaner like pat said.

yes. yes it would. but not in the same way lowering hte oil would. i run 40 :1 in my bike. my 250 and i havent had a lubrication issue. and i run it pretty hard. especially for what your doing rideing with your kid. try adjusting the airscrew a bit if you wanted to , i belive for your purposes turning it out half a turn or so perhaps? im not carb person though so i could be wrong about everything haha. ~pat

Your bike is never gonna be happy puttin around behind a 4 wheeler, it can handle a little but you still have to twist the throttle occasionally to clean it out. You are riding between 0-1/4 throttle, so you should lean w/ the airscrew.

there are two things you can do.
turn the air screw out a little. but you will still have to make sure you open up the throttle every few mins to clean it out.
or use a hotter spark plug while your riding with her. you will almost certainly not foul it. the only problem is that the bike may and probably will cut out in higher rpm's. just dont do drags, and you will be fine.

Go rich for cooler temps. 1 size bigger/richer on the main for 20deg drop in temp.

On a 125 I'd stick with 32:1. Going to 40:1 or 50:1 by the way actually richens the mixture (fuel wise) and may make it load up more.
If its loading up it may be running rich on the pilot jet. You can try one step leaner pilot jet or turn the air screw out 1/2 turn and see if its better.
A 125 really isn't happy just putting along; it wants to be run hard to be happy.
