92 def take out ur p-valve. u don't need to take of the jug and install is just reversal.
u will have to set the tension though with the adjuster just below that hole ur pointing to.
ur book should show u what plugs that hole.

Ok I'm lost, sorry. Start again... Where is the powervalve, what does it actually do, and what does it look like? LOL And how do I clean it? Because there is nothing in my manual that refers to a powervalve.

92 the power valve is just a blockage in ur exhaust port.
when u rev ur engine the valve opens to allow ur exhaust to exit without restriction.
the faster the exhaust exits the more power u will have.
They use it to give the bike a mid range. without it u would go from nothing to wfo very abrutly if u've ever ridden a 65 2 stroke u would no what i mean.
they come out very easily and a good cleaning makes noticably more power.

I just looked on bike bandit that hole is just a vent. it should have a nipple (ha ha I said nipple )
and a vent hose to exit under the engine.

That was already said before i starting messing with you. And think of it like this, On my car i just put in those elec opening valves on my exhaust to allowe the air flow through. Same thing, more power to the mid. And sounds cool to !

When checking the manual; see if there was an elbow and vent tube attached there or a screw. Its likely the powervalve vent but I don't think its hould be open like that; too easy to get dirt and water in the chamber???
Haven't had a Suzuki since 1975 so not sure.
