I think you would need to keep the tailgate down. El Camino's are super cool. I heard a rumour GM might make a new one.

me and my dad are lookin at a 68 el camino for $3500, got a 350 4speed and 108k miles, and only minor rust on the wheel wells, so i think we might buy it

eh......probly like 19 or 20 on the highway for the 454ss and like 22 or 23 on the highway ss396, but we're lookin at a 350, so probly pretty similar to the 396, but ya el caminos are awesome, and chevelles, and camaros, and gtos, and olds 442s, i could go on and on

o ya, the loud burn up the tires type of cars, today i saw a 240z with a freakin 454 in it!!! i still dont know how he got it to fit

Never liked them myself, but that new one looks nice. Then again i never liked vetts till i bought one eather ![]() A 240Z with a 454? Holy Chit! I had a Bandit TA with a 455 olds rocket in it. And that was a tight fit. That cat must have no fire wall and some crazy mounts in there. Thats cool though!

ya, we used to have a 65 olds 442, and all it needed was some interior and paint, so i dont know why we sold it
