yea its always good to have a riding partner so if anything does go wrong someone is there. ive been lucky to not have gotten caught by the cops a couple of times. i never knew that riding on the road was illegal, until a little while ago. i had just gottne into the yard, put my bike on the stand, and a cop drove by. lol

first of all. it was 100 ft of dirt then i had to turn right onto my drive but when i did i didn't see the cop coming at me and i guess he turned onto my drive w/out me knowing. And it was a little repeated because i drove to work about everyother day but thats just crossing the pavement. And about me letting my little brother going out and into the woods... he went out with another guy, they went on trails all the way to the other guys house. then my brother was alone on the ride back, i just thought he was riding at his friends house. (guess not) but for him riding the kx 100, it's good for him he has a pw80 and wants a kx80 so he has to learn the power of the 2 strokes now i guess, even though he can't put his feet on the ground.lol
and i also heard that five minutes after he got done w/ me he caught another one of my buddies on the road with a fourwheeler on the pavement he is 14 and the wheeler was unregistered. he only had 150 bucks  WTF  

he might have charged you extra cause he thought you were ignoring him, even though you were not, you just didnt know he was there

this thread has increased my urgency to find a riding buddy that can always ride, cuz i almost always ride alone, but i dont think cops will get me on singletracks

I ride alone alot. If i stay on open trails there are 4 weelers around alot, But in deep trails there is noone around. Sometimes i like it other times it stinks. It's wierd, all the people with bikes don't want to go riding at even 8oclock in the morning. I like to go after work in the morning on sat. And Noone wants to get out of bed!
Then they call me at 3 and like where you at?
I'm tiered from working all nite and riding. DOH.
I hate riding with 4 wheelers but got to know alot of them and meet them up there somtimes and ride open trails. But i always lead and cant really race around with them. I don't where a chest protector alot times and getting roosted by a 4 wheeler is no joke.lol.

hahaha i hear yeah. back when i had my bike running, i'd want to go at 8 cause if you go at noon, you got only so much time before you gotta be back for dinner! i ussually bully my friends into going. or i'll just skip down to our sandpit and dub around cause i tell my mom thats where im gonna be and i have my cell phone, and you get reception in the pit. i must say i owe a lot ot that pit. yeah,, i am not a fan of rideing wiht quadcycles. my friend is giveing up dirtbikes to go back to fourwheelers, it sucks. ~pat

I used to not like there crew, But they saved my butt ones when i spent a hour helping another bike on the trails and lost track of time was pitch dark so some 4 wheelrs hit there lights and got us back to my van. After that we started talking and meet up somtimes. Its funny there like hey take it for a spin, So thats cool, And noone ever wants to ride my bike lol!

hahahahahaha. a lot of htem are scared of bikes for some reason. i personally do not like the feeling of them. it feels like a lot is not up to you. like you can slide a bike out. but you roll a fourwheeler on really tight turns. and get it up on two wheels, and whenevr i turn i feel like thats what its gonna do. hate the feeling that i cant just put my feet down, roll the throttle and whip it around. but eyh. the 4x4 are fun. and useful. ~pat

i hear ya woods, my buddy that i usually ride with is kinda a wimp, he always wants to take a brake and go inside and stuff, but hes only 12, so its ok

But i will say this, The one crew that ride where i do can really ride those things. Thats how i know you don't want to be roosted. After that i stay out front. And thet where jump suits with gear. lol.
