the crf 230 aint a bad bike. bulletproof. my only gripe is the suspension is a bit soft. plus its pretty short for me. but they are awesome trail bikes. and mint for smaller jumps. you'll love the 250 though. you'll never go back ~pat

I have a CRF230. Yea they are abit heavy but when you get a good ol' Pro Circut T-4 complete on it you dont feel the weight unless your at a stop or you try and climb a 70ft hill with foot deep sand and you have to turn it around cause you didn't make the last 10ft(True story) The pipe wakes it up in mid through top end. You should get one. They a very bulletproof bike except I snap alot of clutch levers . A friend of mine also has a 230 and he beats the hell out of his but hes got more balls then me when it comes to hill climbing. We ride all rocky and sand hills all atleast 40ft tall right through to about 100ft.  How do you like yours?

pcdirtriders:
just wondering how may folks got there bikes insured
i got 3 of them on geico like 360.00 a year total
its 10,000:20,000 bodily injury/property damage/uninsured motorist
with comprehensive and collision with a 250.00 deductable
is that a fair deal or is there better rates somewere else .

I have our bikes (YZ250/YZ125) insured through Progressive.  I just carry liability and comp, no collision.

Have you verified what they cover; I have seperate insurance because home owners doesn't cover if you are away from home and (cause) or have an accident causing property damage or injury to others.
