I am looking to get a new bike in the Spring of '09, and everyone is telling me to go Honda. Questions are whether the hype for Honda is worth it? And if I would be OK buying a 2008 that has been sitting in the dealership? A few people said that it will not matter. Opinions?

Hey, I have a 08 450 and it is fantastic. im sure the 09 is great as well but you can save some cash and the 08 is a great bike. im in the desert of dubai and at the track every weekend and i love my bike. ive taken some serious crashes and no problems. i even bent the lft. side radiator last weekend and its not leaking yet so ride on. although the 09 looks slick, do you got the money? cheers
