Hi guys. What is the difference in the LED lights for dual sport kits verses the standard lights (like signal lights and tail lights)??

I know the prices are different, but what else is there and which is better?

thanks in advance for your comments on this topic.

cheers.

Use LED whenever possible.  It draws less current and the bulbs don't fail.

DOT has certified many LED's, so you would still be street legal if needed.

they CAN be, but it depends on the light itself.

LEDs are better.  They can't make true white light yet, but they are getting better at it.  You don't need pure white light on a head light though.

Anyone have any pictures of their LED lights they'd like to share/post here?

I've wondering if tail LED lights are bright enough?

Any additional comments???

thank you in advance.

Are we talking about headlights or tail lights?  The tail lights (LED) are plenty bright.  As forf headlights.. not so much.

Yes, for tail lights. The plan is to have LED tail lights and a standard headlight.

thank you

Hi,

LED's are special diodes that emit light when connected in a circuit. They are frequently used as "pilot" lights in electronic appliances to indicate whether the circuit is closed or not. A a clear epoxy case enclosed the heart of an LED, the semi-conductor chip.

The main advantage of using LED light is they are cheap and helps to save power. I must suggest you to buy LED lights over standard lights..
