I know I haven't been on this site for long, but just wanted to say my season for riding is done till next year.  Had a minor mishap at sping creek mx park.  Didn't get enough speed for a triple jump and cased it really hard, so hard I got a dislocated fracture in my left ankle.  Find out tommorow if it wil be needing screws in it to prevent splinters from coming dislodged from there position. Either way I guess I will have about 8-12 weeks of free time to surf the boards and rebuild the top end on the bike to get her ready for next year.  Sorry for the long post!!    Dave

Pain isnt to bad. Lots of meds.  Just went threw checking valves, oil change, and new chain and sprockets last week.  was hoping for another 2 months of riding. So once i get the cast on it will be getting stripped to frame and new top end, painting frame, new plastics, forks and rear shock getting sent in to be reworked.  Basiclly giving the old baby a new face lift!! Look out 2009.

I work as a maintentce supervisor.  I will still be working.  Its not to difficult of work.  As  far as the money goes for doing most the work I already have most of what i am doin bought and in the garage.  I have been buying all year to get ready for this project this fall.  I will be doing a before and after pics maybe a couple in process pics.  I won't be doing a step by step like pin and others do.

Got back from the doc yesterday.  Need a plate a 5 screws inserted in the ankle.  Getting that done on the 3rd of sept.  OUt for 3 weeks and he thinks that no therapy will be needed.  Hes going and try to see if he can get me in a walking cast by deer opener. Cant miss that.  Hard to get to the basement now so I get on when i can.  Ill keep updating!!!
