I found an 04 kx 500 for 2500 dollars, should I pull the trigger on another big bore and buy it? Its got some aftermarket, I dont know what all yet, still waiting another email. I can see from the pics looks like an fmf pipe and silencer, all stock tank and graphics. Well whats the verdict should I do it?

the price seems right, that was the last year for the big kx. if its in good shape you may be able to make money on it if you resell it. if you need another machine to pull your arms out of socket, the kx500 should do the trick. id love to have one for the dunes.

DCM you say your found it, where have you found it? In the States? Surely not in Japan!

No no no, not Japan. Its in Gerogia, it'll be my on leave bike till I get back stateside then it'll be my new toy. I just sent him an email. Hopefully he responds back soon. Well see. The 04 kx 500 listed for 5000, this one has a few upgrades, is in almost perfect conditon, and has maybe 15 hours on it.
