i dont think its an issue. i'd replace the springs when your clutch slips like elko said. and check for grooves on the basket. its a common misconception about the springs. they dont push on the plates makeing the clutch engage. they push, and hte basket seperates from the other peice forget what its called and seperates teh plates. so the weaker the springs the more the plates touch. ~pat

the thing your thinking of is called the pressure plate i believe.

ahhh thank you. yes. the bit the springs push against and seperates the plates. a genius idea. i dont know the f* came up with the idea but they were geniuses. ~pat

just tried kicking it over in gear with clutch in moves a little bit with the clutch out i almost went through the door

may be im freaking out or some chit i will fill the oil back up in the morning try it running just didn't seem right.

lol. a lot of people including me didnt notice that this happens until someone pointed it out. i almost guarantee teh bike has allways done this and for some reason you just noticed it now. ~pat

yep i have gone through this too about 2 years ago. i have been riding for 7 years and just noticed this 2 years ago. so i think your ok.

ya there is nothing wrong, started it and put in gear dident move. i never noticed that befor thanks again yous saved me a few bucks
