Yeah, I can barely afford to drive to work LOL. I might need to move back home, plus my parents house is about 2 miles from the office.

Damn, 3.43 is cheap. I havent paid that in about a year!
Having a 14 MPG at best pickup never helps either.

3.49 a gal for regular unleaded here in Denver. I paid 4.09 for deisel this morning...
I can pick up all the 108 octane race gas I want for $5.79 a gallon though.. Not that there is any reason to run race gas at 6'000 ft altitude, mind you

premium, 93 octane gas where I live is 1.38 canadian a liter.
1.38 x 3.8 = 5.24 can per gallon of gas.
exchange rate: 5.24 x 1.0609 = 5.56 US per gallon in canada.
I remember when gas was 89.9 for a liter... damn.

Remembering when....
When I started riding a dirt bike, gas was 69 cents a gallon, cigarettes cost 93 cents a pack, and you could go see a movie on it's opening weekend for $2 a ticket.
MTV still played music videos, we listened to tapes and vinyl records, and the internet was a secret communications link for the nations physicists, NOT regular people.
Oh - and a 6-pack of bud costs around $7 or so.

Skipper, Even though your about 10 years my senior I share those same stats. MTV used to be the best.
These prices are getting rediculous. We need to get King George out of office soon. Unfortunately I don't see gas ever going back down again. Hopefully it won't increase again for a while at least.

Senior - ouch, Bill - that HURT! ![]()
Out with King George AND Prime Minister Cheney!
I definitely see gas going down. Americans are finally getting it! Gas consumption is clearly trending down, and the $120 OPEC-controlled floor? So sorry guys, it's already down to $104. The new $100 OPEC bottom limit? Fat chance - Saudi Arabia just walked out on your little den of thieves, and they were the biggest player at the party. Saudi's floor? $80 and falling. But wait, there's more! Venezuela just discovered the single largest oil deposit ever recorded. Much larger than was originally thought!
The Bear has come to crash the speculator's oil party, the US is finally proving it can get smart about conserving fuel, the Big 3 have all but given up on the SUV, Saudi gave a big-fat 1-fingered salute to OPEC, and the Venezuelans can undercut another 10% or more out of a barrel of sweet crude with their newly found dino-pond. All we need now is Chaves, and the US Monarchs out of office and you will see gas drop below $3 a gallon again.
