i found a 02 cr250 in showroom condition but it has no title. only notorized bill of sale. is that good enough. or do i need to have a title. just dont want to buy it and run in to trouble down the road. please help or tell me where i can find the info. again i live in arizona but do some riding in california

take down the vin# and have the DMV check it (servicearizona.com) or ask the seller if you can take the bike down for a level 1 inspection.

az titles new bikes, used bikes are not required to be registered. you have to make sure the machine isnt stolen before you purchase it.  

          post count means nothing

holy *** - i bought my bike used, no title, no anything. i bought it from someone off craigslist.  i guess if it was jacked they wouldent have put it on craigslist.

you'd be surprised how many stolen items are on craigslist and ebay.

the only reason we found my dad's stolen XR650 was because someone advertised it (granted, it had been stripped of most of the good parts, but still, we found it ).
