Since everyone else around here has done it, ill do a pic-by-pic top end project. Might take me a while cause im so busy, so just keep watching this topic if your interested.

First off, I run 32:1 with Bel-Ray H1R. rejet regularily based on temperatures, cause up here in Canada it can drop about 30 degrees overnight. Ill skip all the other stuff and go right to the start.

Through the exhaust port this is what I could see. One sorta ugly looking piston.

Then I pulled the exhausrt valve cover off and found what I expected. A real mess.

Next ill pull the head and jug off then check it out. Im already pushing around 55-60 hours.

Pay attention Chud!  Given your prediliction to run uber-lean needles, you'll be doing THIS to your bike pretty soon too, my friend

Ooey-gooey, Maple!

Shhh... don't tell Woods, but Yamalube 2-R runs much cleaner than that

It's a good thing I use 2R! I expect to find the internals as clean as surgical tools. I have to do the 80 first, it has been on a steady diet of H1R, so I will have my own little comparison.

Haha you guys are lying to yourselves if you think 2R runs clean. I just had the top end worked on on my bike and it was gunked up. The best thing to do is spend the extra money and use red line.

Long live 2 strokes!!

If my bikes had that much crap in there.... your problem is the mix  32 to 1, are you kidding??? I run my 125, 250, and 500 at 50 to 1, using maxma 927, and never have seen a pv cover that mucked up, on a pre mix bike. My tzr, with oil injection, on the other hand, would look like that, after about 5,00 miles. Lean that puppy up, and you can jet your bike soooo much better
