fork seals, and break leaver

how can i stop my seal from leaking, they arent dripping but i wanna rider at the track a couple more times before the seasons up.

and i keep breaking the stupid font break leaver!!!!
what lever should i get... i'm looking at the ones that pivot. whats a good brand for those?

heyy john. your seals? get new ones. for a cheap not permanent fix you can get some rpv silicone or w/e its called. what seal are you looking at ? might need high. keep in mind that is not a good fix but short of replacing its the best i can think of. as for your levers. instead of tightening them down as hard as you can on your bars. dont tighten the screws down so hard that holds the perch. that way if a lot of force is applied it just swivels the perch and break lever whichever way it wants. ~pat

yeah.... my fork seals are having a bit of leakage. i've heard there is way to get around that for awhile.

oooh they make little seal shims i dont know what htey are called. its like paper, rolled in a tube and you slide it under the seal. a cheap easy fix that will last a little while. i'll try to find it on google. ~pat

thats a tool that helps you clean dirt and sand out of hte seal, whihc can make it run. i cant find those little bits of material you put under anywhere! ~pat

you can use film negatives...they work the same way...i know what little paper things you're talking about...but sometimes film works just fine too...just be careful, cuz if there's a lot of dirt, you'll be pushing some of it back into the oil.

the film trick has worked for me several times over the years, try that first.
