Alright guys heres the deal. This has been said several times lately, but all the older guys aren't around much anymore, chud, skipper, woods, elkos talking of leaveing. And many others Ive forgotten. That means everyone else is gonna have to step up. Ill be on here just as much, though Im gonna adopt a second forum, if I can find one.If your new here, feel free to ask questions, we'll get them answered. If you've been here a lil while, go that extra step to help the new guys. Google it, dig out the manual, ask your mechanic if you dont know. But its time for everyone to step up and put this forum back to where it was. Its fallen off especially since char came on here, and for the most part we were all to blame. So lets refocus, clear our heads, and take up the slack for the all the ones who have other reponsiblitys. Lets make this site what it used to be, the people that come here for answers deserve that. So in effect, its on our shoulders now, all the ones that are on here daily, its time to step up and do it to the best we know how. Semper Fi. Lcpl Jordan Duncan USMC

yep i really dont want to leave but this forum has become too slow with a lot of people leaving. i will also adopt a second forum. actually already made an account on thumper talk. i kept the same name so you will be able to find me over there. i will stay on this forum for another week or two but if things dont start speed up i will completely stop coming here and just check in every once in a while. and what dc said about answering threads. well that is how i learned a lot. someone would ask a question and i would google it until i found info, sometimes call my local shop.

No  people are leaving because of lack of content and repeated questions. Every other day its the same thing, when people could search and usually have a question answered. And a lot of the newer guys dont look for answers, they simply post up and say  they have no idea, but blah balh balh and the threads jacked.

Ok I agree that its a lot of the same crap over and over, but there is new questions and some good threads.  I personally think the search function is JUNK.  I try to use it and have to read through 5 different hijacked threads and I still dont get what im looking for

If only someone had the ambition to compile all the great info on this site into a book it would be a great shop manual.

Lets talk then. How much horsepower can you pull outta an air cooled 500 cc 2 stroke? And how much would it cost? 2 limits. 1. it has to run on 110 octane race gas. 2. it has to fit in a standard bike frame.
