hey

Im gonnna order a pants and jersey combo and heard that you should go up a size then what you normaly wear is that right?

also I was thinking of getting the thor phase. but dunno if I should go for the core line of pants and jersey. I like the core the most but the phase's price more.
how long does pants and stuff normaly last you?

a long time. wash it in cold water and air dry, and it wont shrink. once you dry them in the dryer they will shrink like 5 sizes. i am still my stuff from 2 years ago and i would still be wearing older stuff if i didnt grow out of it.

you hsould just go to a dealer or a mx shop and try on stuff because they all fit and feel different. some of them arent comfortable and might not be what you expect. but i wear the same size as i normally wear and they are fine.

well pants and jerseys are like any other peice of gear. they are made to do make riding more comfortable and to cool you. some do it better then others. you might want to take a look at look at fox and thor website to get to know what they offer and the prices. then go to a local dealer or mx shop so you can get a first hand look at exactly what you will be buying.

btosports.com has some good gear combos too.

i personally have really liked fox...their stuff fits pretty true to size, but with the way i move and all the stuff i wear, i usually order a size up.  gear lasts a long time if you aren't growing any more...if you know how to sew, they last that much longer too

also, Klim has a really good line of pants with zip vents (kind of like snowboarding pants) that make riding in the heat really nice.

like elk said though, you should really go try it on at a store...even if they don't have what you want, try it on to get a basis, and then order the style you want online.

when you are trying stuff on remember that if it feels a little loose while your trying it on, it will be really loose when your riding.
