hey guys , i'm not a very good english speaker so please excuse the number of mistakes you'll find ! the facts are these : I started dirt riding 3months ago with a 2001 kx250 and it is pretty good , and lately i found a crf450 2006 at 2500$ (it is in morocco) apparently in a very good condition and i was wondering would it be good if I sold my bike and bought the honda knowing that there is a huge difference between 2-strokes and 4-strokes bikes and the places where I can fix my bike are rare  , and i'm a bit into trail riding more than i am in track one( since there is two tracks in all the country   ) so please help me find the bike that suits me the best ! thank you ! ( i'm 182cm with 60kg )

the kx fits you better. the crf is strickyl a race bike if its the race version. it will over heat in the trails. also if you'r worried about the maintanence and who can fix it. stay with a two stroke as you can work on it yourself. ~pat

yea i agree with pat. four strokes are harder to start, harder to maintain and they will overheat. stay with the kx especially if you mostly ride trails. if you were going to ride more track then i would consider the 450

eventually it will need the valves checked and adjusted. thats a pretty big job. and a 4 stroke eventually needs a top end rebuild too. especially the mx versions. and with teh cams. timeing chains. cam sfafts and all that good stuff it is expensive and harder. ~pat

empty surfaces.. fields. surfaces with nothing on it. flat like water? the kx is still good for raceing. and tracks. and also good in the woods. ~pat

i think that would be trailing. maybe you could see if you could ride the 450 or a similar one and see if you like it
