we have a early 70s husky wr250 and a early 70s bultaco 250
i think we might fix them up some time

Im waiting on the hours, then Im gonna drop an offer.lol I like that but id prefer one of these. Sexiest bike every made, any year or size.

dc i know you love your 500's but i think you should get a yz250 instead. i mean you already have a yz490 so why not get a bike that is more useable and will be easier to ride. you may even like it more.

I spent 15 months in Iraq, M16 not good for clearing houses, too long for accurate close combat situations. The SAW is nice and would be good in Afganistan cause you are humping it a lot, but in Iraq the 240B and the 50 cal. can't be beat, unless you count the really devastating weapons. Do you want to go to Afganistan? I wouldn't mind going there for a change of scenary, but not for so long. We need to turn Iraq into a giant ride park.

There was a "history of American Motocross" exhibit in the Automotive museum in San Diego just a little while ago...it was a pretty sweet exhibit, you would have loved it if you like vintage bikes...it's traveling the country though, you should look it up.

Ok heard back, bike has a fairly recvent rebuild has about 15 hours on it. Hes a 43 year old woods rider, and hes building another af so hes selling this one. Heres a video of it starting. Whatd you think guys, is it worth $3800? What should I offer him? And I would buy a 250, I'm just a big bore freak, and for where I'm headed(the dunes) a big bore is THE bike.

I would pay what he is asking, if you don't someone else will. That is a really nice bike.  

it sounds like crap but i think its because hes useing a bad starting procedure and because the bike was cold. i'd like to hear it after its warmed up.

and also another thing the guy looked pretty big so the suspension might be sagging out from him riding it, so you may need to get it rebuilt to get that brand new feel.

Starting procedure is about right for a big bore, but it is cold and sounds like it. Ill get some warmed up video off him.
