I have a yz250 2001 stock bike and I am almost 5'8" and I weigh 174. Do I need to adjust my suspension??

it depends on what feel you like, what kind of riding you'll be doing, etc.
do you jump, track, trails, sand, rocks, etc?
it's always helpful to calibrate it to your weight, but i wouldn't say it was necessary the way it is.
