I recently purchased a 2000 cr125 (husky) I rode it on the track some, but not on any long distance rides. Anyone have an estimate as to fuel economy?

Not a clue. Work it out yourself.
Get a speedo, that registers miles. Fill bike with a gallon of full. Drive it till it runs out. And then there you go, miles per gallon.

Yeah huskys are tight. They're really rare though. You never see a Husqvarna dealership.

pat, i know you have an ATK so it might be different, but a 250 will actually get better MPG than a 125 as the smaller bike needs to work alot harder to keep up with the bigger bikes on the trails.

my bike is particularly bad on gas. i have two petcocks and a 3.1 gallon tank for a reason haha. it compares to my friends yz 125.

Sanders, i would assume that the milage will be pretty close on any japanese 125.
And Pat, man, ive never even heard of that.
So basically it holds true with dirtbikes too that *** bikes are better on gas than american. lol

Does the airscrew affect mileage? Cause I ajusted my airscrew for cold whether and now its warm and i dont know if I got it back to a good normal temp setting and i get horrible gas mileage. For instance I put two gallons in and I go on about maybe 4 rides about an hour long each and I'm almost out of gas already, idk what I'd do on a long ride..
