try and stick grease in areas and somehow try and work it around and hopefully the grease will allow it to come out. if that doesnt work then you will have to pound at it like mofo or try and and cut it out.

how about using a set of jaw pullers you should be able to find a palce for them to hook over you swingarm then you should be able to force the axel out that way.

soak it in wd-40 first.  let it soak in, then try to tap it out.  but dont mess up the threads.

*** the threads. if it as bad as you say then nothing will get it out. i highly doubt that bolt will be useable when your done with it.

The bolts on my kx 85 are the same way...You have to shock it. Put some wd-40 on it then put a wrench of a 6 point socket and hit it with a hammer. I think the bolts have lock tight on them.
Every chance i get

sometimes the bolt will get grooved in areas it comes in contact with stuff. and then it is impossible to get the bolt out unless you get the bolt in such a position so the grooves are not sicking on anything. will the pivot bolt spin? try spinning it while hitting it out with a hammer if you can

Thats why its important to grease all the axles and linkage and pivot bolts yearly.

Don't just hammer it; you'll end up with more problems!

Soak it with some penatrating oil (WD 40 is not a great penatrating oil but better than nothing)and lighly tap on it using a socket extension or socket (so you aren't hitting the threads directly).  This may help the oil work its way in.

The next step needs to be done with extreme caution and parental supervision if not an adult.

It still may not budge at this point.  You can use some heat to help loosen it, but you need to be very very careful!!!!  If you decide to do this, do it outside.  The safest way would be use a heat gun to blow hot air through the hollow pivot bolt  and once its warmed, try tapping again.  Some people will use a plumbers torch to force heat through it, but you need to be careful not to get it too hot to burn the grease or oil or other parts of the bike.

If it won't budge after that, then see if the dealer has a press they can try and force it out with (may involve partial disaassembly of bike etc).

once a year is not enough. you will have to replace all the bearings once a year and will have a hard time getting them out again. once a month at the very minimal. your bearings will last a long time and you will never have problems getting bolts out.

I'm a big fan of bringing on the heat as well.
A CRACK HEAD lighter works great. It's a pen like tourch and can contain the heat right to the area.
