What's your advice about winterization...

Up to you. What happens when its empty is when it gets above freezing and Alittle warm it will creat condensation, Then that will FREEZ! then back and forth and weaken the rad ect.
If Full with some anti freez this can not happen.

Just how i do it and my opinion. Your call though.
And most other vets do the same that i know.

As for the tires if you deflate them your taking pressure off the rubber, And it WILL crack under cold warm drama. You over inflate them by a few pounds and hit them with the same rag you used to fog the bike and thats just enough to keep your rubber nice and protected. But WTF do i know. lol.

hmm, good point, I also forgot that my bike has moose tubes which are filled with nitrogen, not normal air. Im not too sure what to do about those. my winters get to around -30C so I am going to have to take extra precautions.

Its a oil sulution under pressure and at a fog to do your engine and coat parts that can rust.

would you recommend starting the bike every 2 weeks or so? just so its not sitting there and not running for 6 months in a row?
