hey...go to youtube and search for "fork seal change".
rockymountainatvmc.com has 4 videos up on how to change the seals and oil...it's really helpful

you can take the cheap way or the correct way. the cheap way is just changing oil and seals. the correct way is to send the forks and shock to factory connection, pro action, or pro circuit to get them rebuilt.

Not to hijack thread or anything but on the subject does anyone know any good places to find repair manuals or videos that don't cost a trillion dollars? Or any good sites to download perhaps ?

there's a couple online manuals, but you have to buy them just like the paper ones...about the same price too.

youtube has videos, and lots of sites have basic maintenance videos

75 is too much, motosport sells oem manuals. Check hondaparts direct also.

Elko u need to elaberate more on this. Say what??  A pivot works bushing kit is generally cheap money, get the stock seals-they work best and right amount of fluid. most modern day 125-250's use 5 weight. or u can get 01 which is ridiculously priced cuz i think its made out of gold or sumthing. and id only get the 01 if i was a die hard racer, 05 is perfect for light racing and woods bombing.

oh yeah and unless ur going to have ur forks re-valved to certain specs, then sending them out to factory connection or any other high-end fork company is wasting money.

no its not. i would never rebuild my suspension myself and i know mostly every person on this forum wouldnt either. there are a lot of internal parts that can wear or get messed up. suspension rebuild is not easy and i would rathe have a trusted proffessional do it because they know exactly what to look at it and what to do.
