This is probably the most informative web site for suspension set up that I've seen.
http://www.tootechracing.com/KYB%20Suspension%20Set%20Up.htm
Everyone runs their set up's different. I run my my forks on the stiff setting, and a little saggy in the rear. More sag will improve your bikes cornering, soke up small whoops/bumps easier, and reduce arm pump. The downside is you they will bottom quicker and will rebound slower. Less sag will keep your bike from bottoming, rebound quicker, and increase arm pump.
Hopefully this helps. Less is more, live poor, die pure.

I used to have an RM80. the only way to adjust the front forks is take the air bleeder screw out and put 10W fork oil in it. do the same amount to both sides. a syrenge works the best for measuring it, and for putting it in the forks.
The rear you can adjust the spring by loosening the lock nut and turning the nut that is holding the spring. they make a tool for this but the best way is to just use a punch and a hammer. don't beat up the threads! next there is a screw on the right side of the bike by the little nitrogen tank just below the seat. it is actually hooked to the tank. turn it right tightens it backing it out loosens it. there is one last screw it is on the bottom of the shock on the right side it is hard to find because it is so small. right tight left loosen.
that is how you adjust the suspension on an RM80. do it evenly front and back at same time. big adjustments will be adjusting the spring and adding oil. the screws are just small adjustments. have fun and tell me how it worked. Good luck!

Your fork oil hieght is measured with the fork springs out, and the forks fully compressed. You need to read your owners manual on how to remove them. I wouldn't recommend just taking your air bleeding screw out and sticking the gauge in. This will cause a really unaccurate reading, and blowing a fork seal. Less is more, live poor, die pure.
