I would change it about every other to every third ride depending on conditions and how hot you are getting the engine.  What kind of oil you run also makes a big difference.  Run a good synthetic.  I run Amsoil because I am a dealer, but I don't know if it is available over there.

Thank you again yzwoods for the promotion, I only wish that I would start getting paid for it. Mitkov this schedule is straight from the CRF250R competition handbook. First oil change after break-in ride, then after every race or 2.5 hours of standard riding. Oil filter change after break-in ride, then every 15 hours or 6 races. I would advise switching to a mess style reuseable filter with magnetic particle catch so that you can save a few bucks and they are really easy to maintain so it might save you some trouble with running to the dealer to buy more parts.

No offence but that didn't make any sense. Do you know English?

you shouldve known all of this BEFORE you bought your CRF. Knowing basic maintence for your machine is critical if you want it to last, especially for a high performace race machine like yours. Your looking at a $3,000+ repair bill if you dont maintain your machine. I have a CRF250R and i change the oil every 3 rides and use Pro Honda 10w-30 or 10w-40 oil, depending on how the riding is. I would highly recommend that you go to your dealer and get a maintence manual for your machine and get to know it like the back of your hand.

Hey take it easy on the guy.  He lives in another country (Romania or Bulgaria I think).  He bought the bike like the day before he posted the question.  Do you know everything about your new bike the day after you buy it?  I think not.

Why do some people on here have to jump all over people just because they don't know every litttle thing about motorcycles or know how to type in English.

I want to start off by agreeing with you about jumping in and pointing fingers. I was very patient when working with my dealer and listened to his recommendations, I also took a few minutes while the shop was setting up my bike to read the manual and figure out what the manual said for break-in and that the oil and filters need to be changed out after the break-in. I also purchased everything I would need for the bike for the first couple rides. This isnt bragging and Im not going to say that you shouldn't always go by what is said on the forum. I know when I purchased my bike the competition handbook came with the bike and I ordered the shop manual the same day so that I wouldnt have to ask alot of questions later. The hour conversion is a good question and I understand that so like you said we should be considerate of mitkov situation and try and help the guy along until he knows his bike like that back of his hand.

If your just riding then 2 tanks would be equal to 1 moto. If your training hard then 1 tank is = to 1 moto AND 1 moto = 1 moto. I put the specific change interval in my first post so go back and read it. Dont take everyone here to series becouse people sometimes forget the world wide web serves the world and that means everyone is welcome and others dont read often enough to figure out what is going on so try and take them with a grain of salt. I think that it is very impressive that you have worked out your English typing so well as to basicly communicate with us.

Calm down a minute, he said "no offense" before asking the question "Do you know English." If any one should be repremanded for a question about a CRF250R it should be Briankx125 becouse he was the biggest duck in the puddle and he has asked questions about the same year of bike with a question regarding the oil system that is clearly outlined in the shop manual and the owners competition handbook. I know how you get sometimes becouse like you said I am a full time member and "WE" should try as a group to be more considerate of the other members and try and click on the persons info before we jump to conclusions becouse there is alot of info such as location that can be found to help understand who we are talking to before replying. I want to be the first one to say that I have been speaking English most of my life and I am still working on my spelling so with that in mind you will never catch me spell check bashing. Im not attacking you I just want to remind that we have to try and be patient with people if we can.

Im glad that you have got the oil supply worked out and now your up to speed on the tank hour/hour figure worked out. The part about being a better mechanic than most is a bold statement considering that just for me I am a Certified Yamaha technician, I am a diesel technician having attended schools for the Detroit 71 series engines, Cummings B-C series and have supervised techs maintaining the Fairbanks-Morse engines and Colt-Pielstick engines. Im not the best tech but I am constantly developing the ability to trouble shoot, and understand problems with bikes and having the the technical understanding to use the information provided thru technical publications so I wont argue that you are better than most but to my reading it sounds like bosting so please save it for a bragging contest. I am always glad to help someone with a question and am especialy happy when it is applied to a good use.
