My dad is gonna get me a another dirtbike for christmas and I want a 2 stroke but he says he doesnt want to get a 2 stroke because you cant putt around on it. The trail I ride at is pretty long and twistie. Is there anything I can do to slow down wearing out the spark plug?

Sometimes, you just gotta face it. for tight twisty trails a 4 stroke will be better, unless you have a bunch of expierence and know how the 2 stroke rides

Well one major thing about the 4 stroke is that im 6'1 6'2 and im worried that the he wants to get (03 honda crf 150) is gonna be too small for me. what do you guys think? What about a crf 125 L? would that be too small?

A spark plug doesn't wear out. It all depends on how the bike is jetted. A perfectly jetted bike will foul a spark plug only if you put around excessively like hours on end. You can lean up the jetting a little bit or run a hotter spark so it doesn't foul. I can go forever on a spark plug and thats just because I have my bikes jetted exactly perfect and because I can ride my bike hard.

Because it is necessary to know to recommend a bike for you.

Get a 125 two stroke or 250 four stroke. Like a yz125 or crf250.

How do they measure the seat height? From the groud up to the highest part on the seat or what?

i think its from the ground to the lowest part of the seat. but im not sure. if your 6'1 or 6'2 you should have no problem with the seat hight on a 250x. i belive it is lower than that of a 250 2stk & im 6' & i ride my brothers cr all the time

I am not sure either but at 34 in. I touch flat footed easily and at 37 -38 in. I touch on just the balls of my feet at 5'10

Seat height does not really matter. The bikes you mentioned will be way small. The bikes I mentioned will fit you perfectly. You will not need to worry about seat height.

yea...i agree with elk...the 150 is a smaller bike...you'd feel like your knees were all up in your face if you're 6'1".  i'd go with the crf250x or one similar in another company.
