Anyone have any good tips of reducing arm pump for racing?

A good exercise is tying a small rope to a piece of wood and tied to a 5 or 10lb weight, letting the rope hang, and using your forearms to twist the rope up.
Less is more, live poor, die pure.

also keep your arms straight out in front of you. have you arms at a 90 degree angle with your body. make the rope's length the distance from the floor to your arms when they are held out.
