RM 250 Engine, need advice!

Alright lads, i have a RM250 1999 model the engine packed in on me a while back.
i was wondering if any of uses boys new if theres a 4 sroke engine that will fit in the frame. or close to!
or even another rm 2 stroke, i just cant find that year engine. any year after would be good to. i came across a 2003 but didnt know if it would fit.
as i work abroad alot and dont have the time for trail and error. much apreciated if any one knows.

welcome to the board. and i do not know one hundred percent certain. thre have been frame mods just about every year, try calling a dealer maybe. see what they say.

There are questions all the time about swapping engines. You will have to find out about model year runs of your bike ie. 05-07 Honda CR125's were the same, 04 CR125 was a single year model. Some people have the skill to move mounting brackets on the frame.
