i go riding with a dude that only rides kx 500's in the woods. he is 6'-4" and 280ish. to be sure that is a mans bike. a little fuel hungry though. ps we ride the tillamook burn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tillamook_Burn. great fun!

they are really good at tearing up tires also and scaring the hell out of anyone

ha, uh, pretty boring. Got a thanksgiving meal on my mom's side in about 1 and a half hours. Otherwise, just relaxing

Wow how did I miss this? Damn that is a lucky lucky man with that collection. And a 500 can be used for anything, there just heavier and take better throttle control. Th thing I like about the 500s is there a torque monster. Even on nasty hills you can fudge up and stil torque your way up, no clutch needed. I rode one from age 14 to age 18 in the tightest single track around, not the best, but I loved it, and they deystroy a berm like no other thing made.

that is nuts! most of those bikes looked to be in good condition too.

dc right the cr 500 is crazy torgue machine when i drove 1 it came up me almost in every gear
