ok i liked the idea that we rank in order the bikes and type - how about every one writes down 2 things (and only 2 things no little details or opinions yet) how about everyone write THE BIKE BRAND THEY WANT and then MX or TRAIL?

Yamaha
MX

Being CRF's only; they had the bike choice as a given.

Jimmy; how about deciding based on current input the bike brand and category; then specific mods can be started.

Ok, I want to hear either a YAY or a NAY ok guys.

There have been a few people on here that have been talking about a bored over YZ250 that has been up from trail/decent raer. you guys know what I am talking about. You guys all need to cooperate and get the model, size and type of set up out of the way. We are spending too much time on this. We need to pick up the pace. I think most people here want to do a bike that is set up for trail that is capable of track as well. Now one of the best 2006 bikes out there that is a two stroke which is an awesome trail bike is a YZ250. People have already said that other sites are doing a CRF and also a KTM bike becuase of what kind of forum they are. I saw we do a two stroke becuase I think we should put a little spin on it so it makes it harder for the people to choose the winner. It wont just be one of those were they winner is chosen out of a pool of four strokes and most of the time it is becuase of bias.

So, YZ250 bored over, trail/racer, YAY or NAY?? You guys need to post or else the voting will suck and then Jimmy will just have to pick the bike.

POST PLEASE! And please STAY ON TOPIC!

sorry guys ive been gone for the past few weeks. i was riding up in pokerfaces neck of the woods. this whole thing is really cool. i think the yz250 would be cool. however this is dirt rider and dirt rider nominated the kx450f as bike of the year. i believe the kxf450 should go. it makes sense. first year production bike. people would love to see it. and im sure no one would be dissapointed, and i dont even like kawasaki. im just sayin its the better fit for dirt rider. so think about it.

OK, It is looking pretty strong for the Yamaha YZ 250.

This is good for a number of reasons.

First, we have one. Second, I think it will be the only Yamaha, but I haven't checked the other boards.

So keep it to BRAND and USE and on Tuesday we'll finalize this and move on...

THANKS

JIMMY

Ok so you guys want to make a bike. Why well it’s a promo like deal where you can take our feed back and make it happen. That’s great! I thought awesome so what kind of bike? Whats the bike purpose? What well happen to the bike what kind of riding? Are we talking a 125cc or the big 525 SMC super motar?

Well I race harescrambles and I feel that that type of race is challenging for both bikes and rides. Moto cross is great and all but riding skills are way different.

Being hard up for a new racing bike I have one I dream of. A 300 EXC KTM . its set up for woods racing. There are a lot of orange in the pits where I race so just because some one else is making a KTM does not mean much. Its how the bikes set up as to how it performs in the field.

So if you all deside on offroad you could enter the bikes in the toughs Hare scramble around. Moose Run Morrison, IL June 3-4.

Or you could make moto cross bikes not like threes a million of those already made and racing. Or a super motar or a duke. Theres a great deal to choose from how ever a true race would show whos bikes the best.

So now that you make these bike what happens to it?? Are you going to give it away? Or is it going to end up in a box some place next year forgotten? I mean gez a new KTM 300 XC-W $6,600. bells and whistles in after market  getting in to 10,000 area.

Heres an idea pimp out my 440 hee he hee any way you need to pick a sport and build a bike to perform in that class.
