Stock tank, keep it simple. Spend resources on performance.

I am making a RACING bike the Blue, 3.0 gallon, Dry Break Ready Tank and dry break receiver. save time and spillage it wins races! it is a performance part. I did not know we had a limit on resources. make a bike that wins or your just making junk.

Ya, also we are most likely making a woods bike, so any serious off-roader will spend the cash to get an oversized tank. You cant finish the race if you cant carry enough fuel. That is a nice tank, but do we want a blue tank when there is already a lot of blue on the bike? I have seen a picture of Ryan Mclyntre I think and he had a white tank (the natural color) and it looked pretty sick on a YZ. I have seen other Yamahas with the blue tanks and I thought it just had too much blue going on. Just my opinion though. ______________________________________________

From trail riding my '06; I agree on the larger tank. Stock is fine for track or short trail sessions but too small for serious off-road use.

Definitely a bigger tank, and i agree with RIDE CR on the white tank. Ty Davis has a white tank on his yz250 and it looks amazing.

Are reeds considered fuel sytem? If they are, I say we go with V-Force 3 reed valve.

Ok I am just going through the thread and making a list of what we have so far: Zip-Ty Racing; 3.0 gallon natural (white) tank with dry break. VForce reeds. Scotts stearing stabilizer. Is that is? Anything else or any objections/comments? ______________________________________________
