I say NO number your not racing your joy riding just put the dirt rider logo as large as you can get it on the number plates youll look cool and thats all your worried about.

I think that we should have a rev lov Auto Clutch and have a left hand front brake.  The way chould get more poelpe like(with haveing no hand)into the sport.  That is what think that we should do for the bike. Maybe use a RM250 or a YZ250.  And the tires should be Pirell MT450s front and rear.  The more people that we get into the sport the less people that would try to close tracks.

Numbers are assigned to racers. I am number 13 in my class. That numbers not the bikes. You have your bike and you wish to have a number OK great every one knows its you that’s your number.
This is a bike we are building until its some ones pick its not numbered. The number comes with the owner.

Ok so Yamaha is an OK replacement for the racers number how ever lets think about this Dirt Riders paying for the bike there for they should get advertisement. It seems only reasonable to advertise Dirt Rider not Yamaha.  Yamaha they well have their name on the covers and a few other places. Lets just put some recognition to Dirt Rider for doing this for us fans. I say a Dirt Rider logo as large as they can fit.

Wow, I havent been on here in a long time. Glad to be back though. I've been riding!

Anyways, Jimmy, I think that we should definately put the Dirt Rider front fender stickers on the bike. That would look nice.

Superhero, I dont see why we cant have a number. Just becuase you dont race, doesnt mean you cant have a number. Whoever gets the bike can change the number themselves if they get assigned a different number or want a different one.

I dont know about the left hand front brake Nubrider. I think the people who test the bike will think it is kind of funky. But I see where you are comming from. I like your input but I dont think that it is a practical idea.

I also forgot to say that since we are going with the black excel rims that the black renthal sprocket would look nice. Also with a normal gold chain. I saw a 450 with that combo and it looked good.

You don’t see why you cant have a number? OK so WHO’s number are you going to put on the bike any number you pick is going to be SOME BODYS NUMBER. I explained that numbers are assigned so whos number ? what color field are you going to have this number on? What color numbers? Are we going to have a pro blue  field with pro yellow colored numbers? Red A field with white numbers? white field with black numbers or black field with white numbers. You want to put some ones number on a bike so I guess youll want Pro blue and yellow so whos number? This way people well think who evers riding the bike is that pro rider or a poser.

We're not racing the bike so why does it matter? I dont understand why you are stressing out about putting a number on it. I dont really care what number goes on the bike. It is just a number.

Its not just a number its SOMEBODYS Number. so whos number are you going to put on the bike. what class pro? A? B? C? if you people want a number then put some ones whos doing this whole thing. put jimmys on a pro feild hes leading this so if you have to have a number so you THINK you look cool. then put his. least a racers not going to have a problem with it. funny if you dont know what the numbers are about where do you have to have one on the bike. its no one racers bike. if any thing its jimmys hes doingf the work let him have it for a thanks for making this all happen.

Why are you so negative? You are bent about this and that whole "squid" ordeal? Ever since the bike was decided (by majority) to be a YZ250 instead of a KTM you went sideways. Chill out a little. I dont know why having any 'ol number on the bike is such a big deal. There isnt a rule that says there cant be a number on the bike since we arent racing it.

You are rapidly loosing ANY credibility here.  Your posts have gone from being annoying to borderline ridiculous.

You have gone postal over a humorous article (and apparently missed the entire meaning of it), and starting slamming every ones posts on the bike build.

If you want to be taken seriously (or thought of as a "racer") I suggest you step back, read your recent posts and give it some thought.

I think your confusing  the word credibility with popularity. I posted the article I quoted from the article so every thing other then my opinion had credibility. You just don’t like what I have to say. That’s just to bad Im not here to win a popularity contest. If your saying I should just be a sheep and go with the crowd to be taken seriously or to be know as a race I say screw you. I race I am a racer my opinion does not change that fact.

As far as I know I have not killed any one over this bike build so "go postal" is a little extreme. I have not slammed every ones ideas just the really dumb ones.

Now when you all  where wondering about wondering how to go about this whole bike build I started a thread no one followed so I made another and yet another to get this rolling. I guess it’s the leader in me to lead you people in to the build and not waste times. The yz did not win from a majority there was just a lack of participation. We can count on our fingers the people who are continuingly active   on this bike build.

Thou I do not like Yamaha I continued to be a part of the bike build as most just stopped adding  their thoughts. You people are not making a bike for a task you are trying to build to look cool. Your not making a EXC or a MX you are just putting a bunch of cool tricked out parts on a bike. OK so I say you really don’t need athis or that it all adds weight and you just don’t need it if your not racing. That made me unpopular you people want to have some ones number I only as whos? What class? Trying to not look like posers in this whole bike build. So I said if you have to have a number use jimmys. Its saves face and it is a tribute to jimmy for putting this together.

If you don’t like what I have to say stop crying like little girls and ignore me. At least I am adding to the build and I trying to explain that whole squid thing.
