Has anyone ever done a trade in ? Hows it work if you trade a bike such as a Yamaha in that you still have payments on? Say your trading up at the Honda dealer for a new Honda.

You might as well give your bike away. Thats how I feel about trade-ins.

exactly chud! the dealers will offer you crap for your bike no matter where you go. You'll get hundreds more for your bike by just selling it and getting a new one

You still have payments on the bike right?
Selling the bike isn't going to get you anywhere except maybe bring you even.
I say trade it in. Now if you already have the bike payed off then I would sell it.

Yah I paid half in cash and still have like 1900 left on it. I just thought if I found a good promotion going maybe I would inquire about it but I dunno.
But what if I wanted to trade it in on a new Yamaha ? how would that work out since loan is with Honda ? NOt saying thats my plan but Just seen they had a nice promotion going.

Now that's solid advice. Your in debt so get in worse debt and owe twice as much as the bike is worth. duh
